Our Duracell Batteries are designed and developed in the state-of-art manufacturing facility, which enables our customer to enjoy trouble free running of his vehicle. Each battery undergoes stringent quality checks before it is shipped out from the plant & reaches the end user. Our Batteries are a fitting complement to your machines ensuring smooth and uninterrupted power at demand. Please read the enclosed contents to understand the terms and conditions of warranty.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

1. Warranty Period Comprises of ‘FREE REPLACEMENT’ and ‘PRO-RATA’. The label on every Duracell battery specifies the total number of months covered by the free replacement period and the pro-rata period for batteries fitted in private cars, multi-utility vehicles, two-wheelers.
2. The warranty is limited to 12 months from the date of sale for the battery fitted in commercial vehicle or metered taxi.
3. In all cases the warranty is applicable from the date of sale to the original purchaser.
4. Online Battery Warranty registration is mandatory at the time of battery purchase to avail warranty benefits. For registration methods follow options provided at the back of the warranty card. For any further support required visit our nearest dealer.
5. It is mandatory to produce the warranty registration proof in the event of arising claim within the warranty period.
6. The warranty is valid for the correct fitment only.
7. Satya Intl reserves the right to amend this Warranty Policy.
8. In the event of any complaint, the battery must be returned in untampered, proper & complete condition to the Company's Authorized Dealer. Replacement or discount on battery will be F.O.R (Freight on receipt) to the same point.
9. The warranty for battery being replaced at free of cost (FOC) shall commence from the date of sale of original battery, as stated at the time of warranty registration and not from the date of replacement given. No new warranty card will be issued in such cases.
10. For new battery purchased under pro-rata warranty settlement, a fresh warranty will be applicable from date of purchase.
11. Compensation on pro-rata warranty period is deemed as a rebate on purchase of a same or equivalent type of brand-new Duracell battery.
12. This pro-rata percentage discount will be applied on prevailing MRP of the same or equivalent battery type received under warranty at the time of claim settlement. For prevailing MRP refer latest price list as will be provided time to time by the company.
13. The Battery is warranted against any manufacturing defects arising during warranty period. The warranty is not applicable to any kind of defects arising from the use of faulty material or poor workmanship. Consequential liabilities will not be entertained.
14. The right to determine whether the battery needs repair, rectification, free replacement, or pro-rata warranty settlement, rests with the company.
15. Defective Battery arising out of free replacement or Pro-rata settlement will become the property of company and no scrap rebate will be given for it.
16. In the event of any particular battery model being phased out, the company reserves the right to provide another model of the same capacity & suited to the vehicle, as settlement of warranty.
17. The Company’s responsibility or liability is limited to the terms of this warranty and shall not be responsible for personal injuries or consequential or resultant liability, damage or loss arising from any other cause, whatsoever.
18. All the liabilities under this warranty shall cease: -
    • If the battery is out of warranty period.
    • If battery is transferred to third party.
    • If the battery is being used in an application other than recommended by company application chart.
    • If battery is destroyed or damaged in an accident such as fire or explosion or collision.If battery is used in non-vehicular application.
    • If damage is caused due to improper service of battery by unauthorized dealers/auto electricians, improper handling or wilful abuse, faulty electrical system, improper recharging-overcharge, undercharge or reverse charge at the time of bench charging condition.
    • In instance of breakage of container and cover or breakage or deformation of terminal due to mechanical shock like hammering.
    • If damage is due to fitment of additional accessories in vehicle other than original fitment.
    • If tampering of Manufacturing Code, Serial Number, Date of Sale, Barcode Sticker, is noticed. If battery top cover is removed or tampered.
    • If Battery is operated in discharged condition for long periods.
    • Improper topping up -Battery has been refilled with additives, dopes or any other substances besides distilled water that may have contaminated the battery. For topping up purposes pure distilled water confirming to IS specification no 1069-1964 must be used.
    • Any other act, omission or circumstance beyond our company’s reasonable control.
19. Adjudication and settlement of claim will take couple of days as the battery has to be tested for the reported failure.
20. Duracell batteries are non-disposable. Our customers are advised to return battery, after end of life, to nearest Duracell Battery dealer against rebate or cash back' as notified by the Company.
21. Any local TAX or Octroi duty which becomes leviable on the battery under repair or replacement shall be borne by the customer.
22. Customers are deemed to have read, Understood & agreed to these warranty terms & conditions at the time of purchase.
